Our kitchen

Chini means sugar.

We started baking birthday cakes for our neighbours in Jhamsikhel. Now four ovens run from six in the morning, and we still bake every sponge on the day.

What goes in

Real butter. Real cream.

No vegetable "cream", no premix sponges. Butter from Kavre, cream whipped in the morning, and cocoa we'd happily eat on its own.

Every flavour comes eggless too, baked on separate trays so there's never a mix-up.

Questions

Before you order…

How far ahead should I order?

One day for most cakes. Two days for fondant, two-tier and 5 kg cakes. For weddings, a week is kinder.

Is eggless really eggless?

Yes. No egg in the sponge, the frosting or the glaze. We also avoid gelatine in every cake.

What about nuts?

Our kitchen uses nuts, so we can't promise a nut-free cake. Tell us about any allergy in the notes and we'll call you.

Can you copy a cake from a photo?

Usually, yes. Use the question form below with a description, and we'll send a quote.

How do I keep the cake?

In the fridge, in its box. Take it out 30 minutes before cutting so the cream softens.
